I have been working as a photographer for the past 10 years or so. It is a very intimate experience in a lot of ways. I get to know my clients. I know their insecurities, their challenges, their quirks, their dreams, their past, and even their futures. I can see where they are headed in most cases.
When I first met Lyliana Wray, at a local restaurant with her appropriately named mother, ‘Sunny’, she was this adorable 13 year old, who carried herself like a 30 year old. I was taken aback. She is an old soul –in the best way. She knows what she wants, has overcome obstacles that seem insurmountable, but still has the optimism, and undying faith of an innocent. Such a dichotomy!
When I was shooting Lyliana, it was so easy to see why she is already a sought after young talent, repped by Paradigm Talent Agency / Endorse Management Group. She morphed into different people, different ages—effortlessly. I didn’t want to stop shooting.
I checked in with Sunny today to see how Lyliana was doing, and I was ecstatic to hear that Lyl BOOKED a guest starring role on the NBC show: “The Night Shift.” She will be filming for 11 days in New Mexico starting next week!
I can’t say how happy I am for Lyliana and Sunny.
I am so grateful to have had a small hand in her success!
A huge thank you to her manager and my friend/colleague Michael Greenwald/ Endorse Management Group for introducing us and helping us out during the shoot too.
